CA, 11 Aug 2020
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is expected to hold a media briefing in Washington on Monday.
In her last media briefing, McEnany reiterated Trump's concerns over mail-in voting as the 2020 presidential elections approach amid the coronavirus pandemic.
President Trump has repeatedly said over the last few weeks that he is concerned about fraud if the 2020 election were to be conducted through mail-in voting due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Monday's briefing as the U.S. Labor Department said in its monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey that job openings increased in June but remained below their pre-COVID-19 pandemic level, supporting the view that it could take the labor market years to absorb the tens of millions of unemployed people.
The survey says that job openings, a measure of labor demand, rose 518,000 to 5.9 million on the last day of June.
The U.S. has a total of 5 million COVID-19 cases and over 162,000 deaths as of Monday.
