The daughter of Daniel Prude, Tashyra, spoke on Thursday about the loss of her father and addressed the video of his arrest, saying that the man seen in the video is not the one she knew and calling him a "caring, energetic, happy-go-lucky man" who loved making people smile. She also said that she wants the police officers involved in his death to be charged with murder.

The press conference comes a day after people rallied in support of the family, and to call for changes following Prude's death. Reverend Lewis W. Stewart on Thursday also called for the officers involved to be fired.
