Saskatchewan's Premier Scott Moe and the province's Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab are expected to hold a press conference Monday to provide an update on the latest COVID-19 cases and vaccine administration plan.

This comes with both Ontario and Quebec starting vaccinating their front-line workers and log-term care homes' residents after Pfizer's vaccines arrived on Canadian soil Sunday night.

As of Monday, Saskatchewan has a total of 11,971 cases and 89 deaths.

The province is expected to start administering its share of Pfizer's vaccine on Tuesday with 1,950 doses.
