Meet four charities supported by The Hongkong Bank Foundation

The Hongkong Bank Foundation (HKBF) believes that charitable work is not just about giving, but also forming partnerships. For 40 years, it has worked to bring long-term change to the underprivileged, the environment and society as a whole in Hong Kong.
To celebrate the foundation’s milestone and usher in another decade of its philanthropic work, HSBC is making a donation of HK$140 million to 10 community projects that are expected to benefit more than 720,000 Hongkongers.
We learn the stories of four of these select charitable initiatives, and how they have been able to increase the scope and impact of their work with the foundation’s support. They include the Rural Sustainability Programme, the Robotics for Youths Programme, S-Qube Youth Financial Empowerment Project, and Food Angel.
Their experiences with The Hongkong Bank Foundation show how the foundation’s help goes beyond financial support by offering expert advice and dedicated volunteers. They also show that in order to build a better future for Hong Kong, hard work needs to be matched with keen interest, knowledge and innovation.
