China's Foreign Ministry has condemned Lithuania's approval of a "Taiwan Representative Office." It says the decision violates the one-China principle and interferes in China's internal affairs. A Foreign Ministry spokesperson says China will take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He has demanded that Lithuania reverse its decision. The ministry says all attempts to achieve "Taiwan independence" by soliciting foreign support will fail.
