RCMP to include incels in updated terrorism guide
CA, 09 Jun 2020
The RCMP said Monday it would include incels, violent misogynists who believe the world is stacked against unattractive heterosexual men, in its updated terrorism awareness guide.
The police force said in a statement it would categorize incel attacks as a form of violent extremism.
As Abigail Bimman reports, the change comes just a week after the first-ever terrorist charge was laid in connection to the extremist ideology.
