US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has addressed the United Nations Security Council, urging them to extend an arms embargo on Iran - which expires in October.
Iran's foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said the Security Council faced a decision between respect for the rule of law or returning to the "law of the jungle".

Al Jazeera's James Bays reports from the United Nations.
