Anger, frustration and sadness over the grand jury decision not to charge any of the Kentucky police officers for the death of Breonna Taylor poured into America’s streets on Wednesday as protesters lashed out at a criminal justice system they say is against Black people.

On March 13th, Breonna Taylor was shot and killed by police inside her home in Louisville, Kentucky. The three police officers connected to the Taylor case face no charges in relation to her death. Instead, one former detective was indicted on three counts of “wanton endangerment” for recklessly shooting into neighbouring apartments during the raid of Taylor’s home.
