Hundreds of people in London, U.K. and Moscow, Russia gathered on Saturday in support of ongoing protests in Belarus over the recent presidential election that many have alleged was rigged.

People gathered in London outside the British Foreign Office, while those in Moscow stood in front of the Belarusian embassy, each holding signs of support and flowers for those injured in violent crackdowns by police.

People in Minsk, Belarus also continued their protests with many gathering on the streets holding photos of the victims of recent police violence. One man showed what appeared to be bruising on his body, saying he had been allegedly detained Aug. 11 after leaving home on his bicycle and had been beaten from "time to time" between being detained and being released.

Several Belarus state TV employees also joined the protests after they left their jobs, saying the official broadcaster had shunned the demonstrations.
