China removes pangolin from pharmacopoeia, grants it first-class protection

#China has removed #pangolins from this year's edition of its pharmacopoeia, a book which lists official guidance for drugs and medicine. That means the mammals will no longer be used as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
