Anger as British ban on group socialising comes into effect

A UK ban on social gatherings of more than six people came into force on Monday, as the country grapples with rising coronavirus cases. The United Kingdom is Europe’s worst-hit country by Covid-19, with more than 41,600 deaths, and has seen more than 3000 new infections each of the last three days.
