Dozens of fighters have been killed in a security operation in India's northeastern state of Manipur.
The state's chief minister said they had been attacking civilians and burning down homes.

Tensions have been high between minority tribal groups and the non-tribal Meitei community - over special privileges for getting land and government jobs.
