"One of the important factors in poverty alleviation is to address the root cause of poverty, including the lack of access to health care, education and basic services," said Muhammad Asghar, director of Associated Press of Pakistan in Beijing. He made the remarks on Tuesday during the 2023 Forum on the Development of Xizang, China. He said that the Chinese government has made significant investments in these fields to improve the living condition of people in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. Meanwhile, the Chinese government has also made significant efforts to solve other problems, such as ensuring an inclusive economic growth and people's access to resources that they need to live and thrive, Muhammad Asghar added. #GrowingXizang
