US President Joe Biden has promised to restore America's leadership on the world stage and repair alliances that were fractured during the Trump years.
Biden announced he was ending support for offensive operations in the Saudi-led war in Yemen, including a ban on the sale of specific weapons.
He has also spoken about the coup in Myanmar, and Russia's treatment of opposition figures.
