Officials from Hong Kong’s Department of Health and the Hospital Authority are holding a press briefing, where they are expected to announce that travellers found to be infected with Covid-19 after arriving in Hong Kong can be released on the fifth day of isolation. Under a series of eased measures, the visitors will no longer need to wait until the seventh day, if they return a negative result on a rapid test for the coronavirus.
