'Welcome to Brexit': Dutch police confiscate sandwiches at border
Telegraph, 12 Jan 2021
Dutch border officials were filmed confiscating sandwiches from a lorry driver's packed lunch in line with post-Brexit import rules.
The EU does not allow for meat, meat products, milk or dairy products to be brought in from countries outside the union for 'personal consumption'.
When the driver asks if he could keep the bread from the sandwiches, he is told it must all be confiscated.
