Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) along with the RCMP will be announcing the largest seizure of opium it has ever found during a news conference in Delta, B.C. on Friday.

Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion Carla Qualthrough will participate in the event on behalf of Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino.

Earlier this year, the CBSA announced two “substantial” seizures of opium at the port of Halifax.
