BREAKING: Captain Sir Tom Moore dies aged 100

Captain Sir Tom Moore has died.

He contracted coronavirus and was receiving treatment at Bedford Hospital for pneumonia.

The nation took him to their hearts when aged 99, Captain Sir Tom pledged to walk 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday to raise £1,000 for the NHS.

In the end, he raised more than £30m.
