The death toll from the powerful earthquakes that struck Türkiye and neighboring Syria is likely to rise as rescue efforts continue. Dozens of countries and international agencies have provided assistance, including China, which has sent rescue teams and emergency supplies to quake-hit areas. Türkiye vowed on Sunday to investigate if anyone was responsible for the collapse of buildings in the devastating earthquakes and has already ordered the detention of over 130 suspects. #CGTNonsite
