LIVE: U.S. Senators call for ban on TikTok and other apps

Two U.S. senators plan to unveil legislation that would allow the Biden administration to “ban or prohibit” foreign technology products such as Chinese-owned video app TikTok. The bill from Senator Mark Warner, a Democrat, and John Thune, a Republican, is the latest in a series of proposals to give new tools to the Biden administration to ban the ByteDance-owned app that is used by more than 100 million Americans.
