And, president-elect Joe Biden will take office on Wednesday, protected by the biggest security operation in history. As Jackson Proskow reports, the risk is not just a repeat of recent political violence, but there’s also a fear of a threat from within.

Heather Yourex-West has more on Alberta’s premier condemning Biden's plan to scrap the Keystone XL pipeline expansion on his first day as president, while Eric Sorensen reports on its potential impact on Canada-U.S. relations.

Plus, the Australian Open tennis tournament is going ahead, but 72 players will be quarantining until it happens after some people on the flight tested positive for COVID-19. Crystal Goomansingh reports on their attempts to stay in shape while confined to their hotel rooms.
