Crocodile eats dog and mauls man in shocking attack in Australia
Telegraph, 24 Feb 2023
An Australian man who narrowly escaped being devoured by a giant crocodile has been reprimanded by authorities who said he should have known better.
Alister MacPhee was lucky to escape with his life after wading from a boat ramp for a swim on the Bloomfield River in northern Queensland.
The 37-year-old had only gone a couple of paces into knee-deep water when a 14ft-long seawater crocodile exploded out of the water.
