Hua Chunying, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said China will impose sanctions on some U.S. officials for actions related to China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan. The move comes amid fresh U.S. sanctions against Chinese officials over Hong Kong issues and U.S. officials having limits lifted on interactions with the Taiwan region, which are regarded as blatant interference in China's internal affairs.
