A total of 64 countries have issued a joint statement at a UN Human Rights Council (#UNHRC) meeting supporting #China's policies in #Xinjiang. In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said China's policies in Xinjiang are not about human rights, ethnicity, or religion, but about combating violent terrorism and separatism.
