Envoy of Myanmar civilian gov’t defiant after treason charge

As some protesters in Myanmar fight back against the security forces' violent crackdown - the military announced treason charges against the now-removed ambassador to the United Nations.
Kyaw Moe Tun was fired a day after speaking at the UN General Assembly last month - where he called for help to remove the military from power.
