Watch again: Minute's silence across the UK to mark one year since lockdown
Telegraph, 23 Mar 2021
Members of Parliament in the House of Commons will hold a minute's silence to mark one year since the start of lockdown - and they will be joined by many around the country on what is being called the National Day of Reflection.
Paddington in London and Glasgow in Scotland will be among the places where people will fall silent to mark the anniversary.
On March 23, 2020 the country was told to stay at home as much as possible and all non-essential shops were closed to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
Twelve months on, the country is racing to administer as many vaccines as possible in order to slowly allow the return of normality.
