UN renews Lebanon peacekeeping mandate with minor changes

The United Nations Security Council has approved cuts to its peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon.
The mandate has been extended for a year, but the number of troops has been reduced by 2,000 after pressure from the United States and Israel.
They say the force - known as UNIFIL - needs to take more action against Hezbollah.
