Assisted dying: Should we be able to choose when we die?

Sky, 25 Aug 2020
It's a debate that's gone on for decades. But Britons could soon be given the right to die under certain circumstances.

Sky News has been told there is growing cross party support for a change in the law that would give choice to people nearing the end of their lives. The move would be welcomed by campaigners, but people opposed to law change argue it would lead to a slippery slope.

They point to countries like Belgium where euthanasia has been legal for nearly two decades, and in that time the law has been extended to growing numbers of people.
