New Zealand has suspended its extradition treaty with Hong Kong SAR in response to a national security law enacted by Beijing. It's also released a travel alert for New Zealanders, advising them of the risks of travelling to the city as a result of the legislation. Beijing has voiced strong opposition to New Zealand's decision.
