Macron backing mandatory mask use is “second best solution: we must test” epidemiologist says

French President Emmanuel Macron said he wants masks to be required in all indoor public places starting on August 1, but “masks are the second-best solution: first of all, we must test massively”, epidemiologist Catherine Hill told FRANCE 24. “I don’t understand why we don’t test more massively, even though we have the means”, she added.
