Marcella Zoia, the Toronto woman known as "Chair Girl" was given a sentence on Tuesday of a $2,000 fine, two years of probation and 150 hours of community service after pleading guilty to throwing a chair off a downtown highrise balcony in February 2019.

Prosecutors had argued that Marcella Zoia should spend months in prison, receive counselling and be banned from social media.

As Catherine McDonald reports, Zoia will not face any jail time nor be banned from using social media apps.
