Report warns ocean pollution could triple by 2040

The coronavirus is having a devastating impact on the world’s oceans, with researchers observing a huge increase in the presence of single-use plastics, from masks, gloves and other protective gear. Scientists now say ocean pollution could triple by 2040 if governments do not act.
