Verdict expected in trial of French mother accused of killing five-year-old daughter

The public prosecutor's office has requested 30 years' imprisonment against Cécile Bourgeon, mother of 5-year-old Fiona who died in 2013, and her ex-boyfriend Berkane Makhlouf, in a new appeal trial before the Rhône assizes court. Images of Bourgeon arriving at court, where the verdict is expected on Wednesday.
