Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha has survived a legal battle that will see him retain power. The country's Constitutional Court on Wednesday declared the prime minister "not guilty" in a conflict of interest case. Opposition politicians had accused Prayuth of breaking ethical standards by living in an army house after his retirement from the military. The court ruling comes amid months of protests in Bangkok demanding the prime minister's resignation and reforms in the monarchy.
