Trump bid to replace Ginsburg sparks fierce political fight

US President Donald Trump says he will name a woman to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the next week.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the Senate will vote on the nominee before the November 3rd election.
This in spite of him having refused to do so for more than 200 days after then-President Barack Obama appointed Merrick Garland to the bench, waiting until Donald Trump was elected and nominated Neil Gorsuch instead.
