Merkel tells Russia to investigate 'probable' poisoning of Putin critic Navalny

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Russia to investigate and hold perpetrators accountable after tests indicated Putin critic Alexei Navalny was poisoned.

The tests by German doctors were conducted multiple times and independently verified, contradicting Russian medics who said Mr Navalny was suffering from low blood sugar levels.
