Iraqi PM's Tehran visit hailed as 'turning point' in relations

The Iraqi prime minister has alluded to concern he does not want it to become a battleground between Iran and the United States. On a visit to Tehran, Mustafa al-Kadhimi told Iran he would not allow any threat to the Islamic Republic coming from his country, stressing a desire for good relations. FRANCE 24 correspondent Reza Sayah says the two countries share deep economic, political, security and cultural ties.
