According to China's top respiratory disease expert Dr. Zhong Nanshan, there's no evidence so far to suggest that the coronavirus mutation detected in the United Kingdom could undercut COVID-19 vaccines. Zhong, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made the remarks at the unveiling ceremony for the National Center of Respiratory Medicine at the First Hospital Affiliated with Guangzhou Medical University in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, on Tuesday.
