Iran successfully test-launched a new ballistic missile on May 25, 2023, according to state media. The Kheibar missile, the fourth in Iran’s Khorramshahr missile series, reportedly has a 2,000km (1,243 miles) range. The missile test was conducted two days after the Israeli army chief raised the prospect of military action against Iran.
