The Treasury has said it will compensate more than 500 victims of the Post Office Horizon IT scandal, after they missed out on previous compensation schemes.

The group of sub-postmasters who helped uncover the scandal will benefit from a special fund, after receiving just a fraction of the sum awarded in a 2019 High Court settlement.
