Anti-Taliban forces loyal to Ahmad #Massoud, son of the anti-Soviet #mujahideen commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, have established themselves in the #Panjshir valley, a mountainous area northwest of #Kabul which resisted the Taliban before 2001.
