Lebanon's new PM-designate hopes to 'restore absent role of state'

Lebanon's new prime minister-designate Najib Mikati says he hopes to "restore the role of the the state which has been absent for a long time", after a day of consultations with political parties aimed at quickly forming a government to rescue the crisis-hit country.
