In a statement, Joe Biden claimed that the US was ready for 'every eventuality' in its planned withdrawal from Afghanistan while taking responsibility for the execution of the abrupt, deadly and chaotic departure from Kabul. In an address to the nation from the White House, 24 hours after the last US soldier left Kabul, Biden made a case for the US to start looking inward and stop 'major military operations to remake other countries'
