Images of the area where an Afghan military plane crashed in the southern Uzbekistan province of Surkhondaryo. An AFP correspondent that visited the crash site in the Sherabad district some 180 kilometres from Termez city saw several dozen soldiers from the Uzbek army help clear up debris from the two planes that was carted away by trucks. Police did not allow journalists to film at the site, where much of the earth was scorched.
