Parents to be fined if children do not return to school, says Gavin Williamson

It will be compulsory for children to return to school from September, with fines for parents who refuse, the Education Secretary has revealed.

Speaking to the press on Monday morning, Williamson said they are launching a £1bn catch-up fund for children who missed out on education and most need it
