Tensions are rising on the Korean Peninsula after the inter-Korean liaison office in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) border city of Kaesong was blown up on Tuesday, June 16.
Experts pointed out the move signifies a major setback in inter-Korean relations.
Officials of the DPRK army said it has been studying an "action plan" to re-enter demilitarized zones. Meanwhile, Seoul has warned that it would respond sternly to further provocation by Pyongyang.
