In this episode, ICON invites two stand-up comedians, Norah Yang and Storm Xu, to share their experiences living and working during COVID-19. They explain how, due to the impact of the lockdown and social distancing, stand-up comedians have had to become innovative with their use of the internet, and they discuss how hard it is to perform without the benefit of live interaction with an audience. Norah and Storm also tell us what it's like performing stand-up comedy in China – a country where the art is relatively new. What is the attraction of being a stand-up comedian here? And how do they manage to cross language and cultural barriers? Find out, in this episode of ICON.
