Yanghang Mosque in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was built in 1897. It is the venue for religious activities for local and foreign Muslims in Xinjiang. Historically, there were many foreign merchants living in this area, hence the name Yanghang zone which later became the name of the mosque. #Mosque
