"Beyond the Mountains: – Life in Xinjiang" is an 80-minute film telling of the life in today's Xinjiang. It profiles 24 individuals living along the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains amid vibrant so-cioeconomic changes. This documentary aims to break stereotypes and clear up misconceptions from both inside and outside the region through four parts: "Changing Times,"" Following the Money," "New Generations" and "Man and Nature." It'll premiere on CGTN on April 16, 2021. Stay tuned.
