There is a saying in Chinese, "like the Eight Immortals crossing the sea, each one shows his or her special prowess." In this livestream, we not only present the traditional Peking Opera performance, "The Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea," which tells the legend story of the Eight Immortals who have acquired magical powers through practicing Taoism, but also some modern Beijing Opera.

Beyond that, we take you behind the scenes to see the basics of facial painting, patching, costume, and cross-dressing. The show promises to be a feast for the eye. Don't miss it! #NihaoPekingOpera
